Alex Milne

Alex Milne is the Assistant Professional at Lockwood Academy and the academy's Lead Junior Coach, working alongside Head Professional Craig Lockwood at Potters Resorts Five Lakes.

Having completed his PGA degree in 2025, Alex has developed a busy and growing coaching diary at the academy, working with golfers across a range of ages and abilities — from beginners picking up a club for the first time through to established club golfers, and juniors working towards their first handicaps.

As Lead Junior Coach, Alex leads the academy's junior coaching, where a positive, skill-first approach matters as much as technique. Across all of his coaching he works to the same principles that define the academy: keep the message clear, make changes that hold up on the golf course, and give every golfer a purposeful way to practise between lessons.

Alex also carries out the majority of club repairs at Lockwood Academy — re-gripping, re-shafting and shaft replacement, and general club repairs — keeping key grip brands including Golf Pride, Lamkin and SuperStroke in stock.
