Every lesson starts with understanding your game — how you play, what you want from it, and what has already been tried. From there we identify what actually matters, make changes that are repeatable and adaptable, and build the skill so it transfers to the golf course rather than living on the range.

Two coaches, one clear approach
Craig Lockwood is Head Professional and a DP World Tour coach. Alex Milne is Assistant Professional and the academy's Lead Junior Coach, having completed his PGA degree in 2025. Both coach to the same principles.

Lockwood Academy is based at Potters Resorts Five Lakes, set between Maldon and Colchester and an easy drive from Chelmsford. It is a relaxed, well-equipped place to work on your golf away from the pressure of your home club.
